Obama is probably not the anti-christ after all. Thank GOD. I would hate for the first black president to be the one to lead mankind into the gates of hell. I will still pay attention to his actions though. One of the reasons I no longer think he's the AC is because of the Tea-Party movement. The bible says that the whole world has to be lead astray by this guy. It doesn't say the whole world minus the Tea-Party lunatics. That being said....he's probably not our guy.

"RWITOITA "(Pronounced Ritoyta) is an acronym I made up 10 minutes ago. It stands for "REASONS WHY I THINK OBAMA IS THE ANTI-CHRIST". As I was looking at this acronym I discovered that it actually spells quite a few words.

So for all the conspiracy theorists and Da Vinci code fans out there, I've dedicated this post to decoding the secret words or hidden messages in my acronym "RWITOITA". If you see other words that are not listed...please participate and let me know. Have fun!

You know, everyone knows that with the last election...change was really in the air. It felt good then...the thought of change did... Now, I'm a little uncomfortable with the rate of change. I mean...isn't there a "change" curve? You know, kind of like a "learning" curve. It should be gradual. Too much change too fast is never a good thing. The fastest change is the introduction and mass marketing of the biochip in conjunction with the nationalization of privately owned businesses.

Now, 666 will not be a visible mark. It will be a code scanned onto the chip. It's the same code scanned onto your "smart chip" in your credit card. I used to work at a credit card processing place where I was first exposed to what I believe is the "mark of the beast". There is a credit card machine called the Omni. All versions of it have two passwords, that after doing some calculations, both equal 666. I think it not a coincidence that the first credit card machine to read the "smart chip" is the Omni credit card terminal (Found at most Mcdonald's) "Omni" means "all knowing". That's probably not a coincidence either being that the chip is able to hold all of your personal and medical information according to the trainer teaching the class about the new technology. She said that the same chip will be implanted in our hands for security and convenience. She was excited about it...I on the other hand was appalled because I remember what the bible says about this "in the hand" business.

Don't get the chip people....it's a trap. I bet it will be required for universal healthcare recipients...let's see if my prediction is right......

I know you atheist and anti-christian activist would be the first in line to get the mark. Consider this though. You discredit a book that predicted events thousands of years in advance....it's probably right. But it's your choice...believe or not to believe. Sooner or later, we'll find out the truth!

Obama is already starting to validate the fears I had about him during the campaign. It took me a very very long time to get on the Obama-bus and now that I am on it...I'm getting off at the next stop. Obama is proving that he is, just as I suspected, just another politician. Has anyone read the details of this bailout package? I am not sure how 200 million for condoms is going to stimulate my economy. You know what....that's it....I'm jumping off the Obama band wagon. I can't take this anymore!!!

Cadillac Records....Deja Vu?

I can't wait to see Cadillac Records but there's something about this that seems awfully familiar. Doesn't the trailer remind you an awful lot of Dreamgirls? Like Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records is loosely, VERY LOOSLEY, based on facts. And according to some of the folks that the movie is based on, including Etta James herself, some of it is flat out fictional. That's Hollywood for you though.

But, notice how Beyonce is the ONLY major female singer in the movie with a major role. I guess that's so Beyonce could win an Oscar without any Jennifer Hudson upsets. Just Joking. Now, most people don't think that Beyonce is a great actress. I mean....I personally don't care...I love Beyonce! The director, Darnell Martin, said that she wrote the script for Etta James with Beyonce in mind (as in with Beyonce playing the part of Etta James). Well, let's see if it's another Oscar laddened movie like Dreamgirls.

I watched him (or watched my husband watch him) every single night of this loooong drawn out election. I felt the anger he felt. I was outraged with him about the failed Bush policies. I was there with him all the way until he admitted that HE DIDN'T VOTE! How could someone who so vehemently detest the current administration not get off of his butt and VOTE! Oh my gah Keith, like...really oh my gah! I can't believe you Keith!

You ever heard of the old saying, "if you don't vote you can't complain"? I mean for goodness sakes Keith. Your head looks as if it's a ticking time bomb when you go off on those tandrums. Why would you do all that if you don't vote? You're going to give yourself cardic arrest with all that Keith. I know you pay good taxes and all but, Keith, if you voted, you would be able to influence who spends your tax dollars and how they spend it! THEN and only THEN would your rants be justified!

Now, that I know you don't vote, I can't even watch your show the same way anymore. Now, you're just starting to look like a ranting political heretic.

I guess when John McCain called us "a nation of whiners", he was talking about people like you, Keith Olbermann, who complain, rant, throw tandrums, burst blood vessels and yet, they do nothing to change the situation we are in. VOTE next time Keith!

Apparently, there are a lot of people on the religious right who are grieved by Obama's victory. Even Dr James Dobson, a man whom I've been blessed by on countless occassions, said that he feels that 35 years of his hard work has been overturned. That's pretty drastic. Does that mean that the souls you've lead to Christ are now going to become atheist? Does that mean that the millions you've inspired are now going to become uninspired? I don't think so...I mean, I don't feel uninspired by Obama's victory. I think the religious right need to focus less on politics.

God is not going to give you a trophy for influencing politics. He will give you your reward based on your commitment to saving souls. If the church was doing more outreach and not alienating folks, then folks wouldn't do the things that would lead to an abortion or gay marriage or whatever the anti-issue of the day is.

With that said, even God gives us a choice whether we should follow him or not. Why then are Christians forcing a choice on people? Give to Ceasar what's Ceaser's and to God what's God.

God appoints kings so let's pray for Obama instead of bashing him.

What I find ironic is that the same people who claim to be pro-life are the same people who don't agree with government assistance. When people have children they can't afford, they may need government assistance in order to feed themselves and their children. Even in the bible, Joshua gave government assistance to his brothers and father when they went to Egypt for food. Their government had food stored up in case of famine. Think about it. If you're going to be pro-life, also be pro quality of life. That means funding a better healthcare systems and a better education system too. Everything is not just black and white you know. I used to consider myself a conservative...now, I'm thinking beyond the "box" issues that divide us.

Obama will govern from the middle. Just sit back and relax as he saves your 401K, create jobs that will help your failing business and fund our failing school and healthcare system. You won't be complaining then, will ya?

If things get worst, then complain. It's only 4 years.

Rachel Maddow, you are the WO-MAN on your show. I love your take on the issues. But...girl...I can't believe you went on the MARTHA STEWART show in ALL BLACK!

Look, I know you are a "tomboy" and a lesbian. You're obviously the male in your relationship. That doesn't mean that you can go on talk shows looking like death's little sister. Even lesbians wants their lady-man looking hip. Girl, you looked like you were a "dark cloud" walking on Martha's show today. That oversized black shirt made me cringe. Your pants looked like they came from goodwill, or better yet, a homeless man digging through goodwill's trash.

Rach, do me a favor. Get slimmer glasses. The big thick black ones hides your beautiful eyes. It's okay to have beautiful eyes and still be the man in your relationship.

Also, while I'm on the subject. Do something different with your hair. I love your dark hair but that do is like...so 1990's. I mean, PBS has a lady sporting your style. You shouldn't be so easy to emulate now that your star is rising.

Since I know you don't like the girly look, consider this one thing when you go on talk shows. Taye Diggs. Look at the way Taye Diggs dresses. I know he's a man but, he's not an overly macho man in his dress so you can pull this off. I would much rather see you wearing winter hues, that match your skin tone and hair color than that deathly black. Plus, don't wear that oversized shirt again. Burn it.

Now, See Rachel, I care about you. I don't have to agree with your personal lifestyle choices to care about you as a person. I want to see your star rise but if you keep wearing that garbage bag to talk shows, you will not be asked back.

I made a list of things that would look great on you while you still maintain your strong image. Some of this will be repetitive but that's because, unlike Katic Couric, I AM belaboring the point.

1. Slimmer glasses

2. Spike up your hair and keep it short on the sides. You can even get that spiky new Posh Spice look. Posh's new, dark cut, would be perfect on you. If you feel courageous, put a few highlights in your hair. Dark brown preferably.

3. If you have to wear all black, wear a black mock neck that's almost form fitting, under a fashionable blazer. Wear slim black slacks that flatter your figure. You can man up the look by wearing Converse sneakers and top it off with a Kangol apple hat.

4. Don't be afraid to wear color. You can introduce color into your talkshow wardrobe by wearing a dark colored argyle sweater, a white tee or button down shirt underneath, a corduroy blazer, and dirty washed jeans. You can also wear your Converse sneakers with this outfit too.

5. It's okay to embrace your feminine side every now and again. You can add a touch of color by wearing a deep red under a black suit or a ruby red peacoat over an all black ensemble. You can wear a jewel blue shirt under your suit or by it self when you're on talk shows. You can also wear purple underneath a gray suit. You can wear black flats with these outfits.

6. Black is not the only neutral color. Don't hurt grey's feelings. You could REALLY use a tailored grey wool or wool blend suit. You are always in black everytime I see you so forgive me if you have a grey suit that I haven't seen yet.

Your makeup is always nice so don't worry about that.

Rachel, I hope you are not offended by anything I've said here. I respect and admire your work a great deal. I just don't want your talk-show wardrobe choices to land you on someone's "don't list". Your career is just taking off and whether you care or not, fashion folks, can make you or break you (at least the public's opinion about you anyway). That's the cold hard world we live in.

Give us a little more of that colorful personality by letting it spill into your wardrobe. This will make watching your show more fun for me at least. People can't take their eyes off of pretty people, even if they are lesbians. These simple changes could greatly improve your already soaring ratings.

Last point. You are a public figure and you have to dress the part, even on talkshows.

Dear America: A Letter from Stacy "the stay-at-home mom"

Dear America;

I'm responding to a pro-life blog that is asking people to vote based on this sole issue, even though there are many other issues that concerns voters.Because of my faith, I am pro-life. However, I am also pro-quality of life. Let me tell you about a situation I am in that really opened my eyes.My husband and I were told our son would have down-syndrome and the pregnancy could be a high risk pregnancy. The doctor suggested that we "terminate the pregancy" because of the financial commitment required to raise a down-syndrome child. When the doctor said this to me, we were floored. After careful consideration, we choose to have faith in God and keep our baby regardless of if he had down syndrome. We, as the doctor put it, "continued the pregnancy". The medical bills went through the roof because I was underinsured. The cost of a high risk pregnancy is staggering. My medication cost $900/month alone and our outrageously high deductable chipped away at the savings we worked so hard to build up. After nine drudging months of carrying our baby, we now have a beautiful baby boy.

After having him, we faced some challenges. There aren't many affordable daycares that have non-traditional hours in my area. My job starting requiring us to stay late two nights a week. So when my son's daycare closed, I had to quit my job because with us only having one vehicle, it was impossible to pick our son up before the daycares closed. I didn't think much of it because I felt I could easily get an earlier shift at another company with no hassle.

We were fine for a while. Then I couldn't find a job. I've had 5 interviews and haven't received any call backs in months. Then, our savings ran dry. We didn't have enough money for food to feed ourselves or our baby. I also lost my health insurance when I quite my job. Cobra wanted me to pay $936/month for my family to stay insured. Being unemployed, this was impossible to afford. Even the $5000 tax credit John McCain is promising, couldn't help us afford medical insurance. It would cost almost $12,000.00 a year to keep our coverage. With me not working, where would the rest of the $7000.00 come from? Under John McCain's plan, the $7000.00 difference would reduce my husband's take home pay to only $14,000.00 a year, for a family of three. This is WELL below the poverty level. Under McCain's plan, we would still be uninsured.

With the rising cost of food and gas, it was becoming impossible for us to make ends meet. I had to apply for government assistance for the first time in my life. I was so embarassed to do so. Especially since both my husband and I have 4 year degrees. His degree is in Biology and mine is in Retail and Business. Even with his degree, he was only able to get a job as a bank teller. I am still looking for a job. This was our situation BEFORE the financial crisis on Wall Street. Now, my husband and I have no insurance. Only my son does and it's provided by the government. The assistance we get still isn't enough. We run out of food two weeks into the month. For those two weeks at the end of the month, even as I stare at an empty fridge, I don't dare ask for more. I would rather get a job then get any assistance from the government at all.

So, this election, I voted for the candidate who is pro-quality of life. For my next baby, I want to be able to afford all the health care coverage I need, have money saved up to care for them and move into a new house (one that I qualify for!). This can only happen if I get a job and can keep my job. I shouldn't have to choose between buying a coat for my son or paying bills. I shouldn't have to make decisions like, "which shoes can I wear that have the least noticable holes in them". This is not the America I know.

I said all this to say, you can only be pro-life, if you're also pro-quality of life. You can't be anti-government assistance when women who choose to have their babies and other people who fall on hard times, may need assistance when they are in between jobs.

There are also a lot of people who are concerned about higher taxes. When they hear, "better school systems" or "a better healthcare system", their minds think "higher taxes". I don't understand how some people can be pro-life, but would not want to invest in children so they can have the education and healthcare they deserve. This is the only way America will remain competitive in the global arena. So, I voted for the candidate that will give more funding to better our school systems for our childrens' sake. Our children deserve the best we can give them. Getting them to read at their grade level should not only be a goal, this should be a minimum standard in every school.

Issues are much more than just "black" and "white". God made every color in the rainbow. We should ask for His eyes so we can consider and appreciate the beauty of all the colors He's created. This means that we need to look at more than just wedge issues that divide us. We need to look at the broad spectrum of what our country really needs and what should be a right of every American...a higher standard of living, which includes better healthcare and better education and equal opportunity to live a prosperous and purpose-filled life. This is the America I know. This is the America that I'm proud to be a part of. This is the "real" America.

Joe the Dumber

Ok, initially, I was like actually inspired by Joe the Plumber. I mean, here's a guy that had the guts to ask really tough questions and put Obama on the spot. I don't agree with his viewpoint but it felt good to have an average Joe ask a politician a question and then become an overnight star and kind of a folk hero.

Then the truth came out. Joe the Plumber is really, Joe the wish-he-was-a-plumber, Joe the unlicensed-don't-let-him-work-on-your-pipes- plumber, Joe the nevermind-his-kinship-to-one-of-the-Keating-5-plumber or better yet, Joe the he-don't-even-pay-the-current-tax-rate plumber! He's a criminal! He evades taxes and practices plumbing illegally! He's even related to one of the Keating 5! I mean, this guy is a low-life! He might even be a domestic terrorist! How do we know? Just joking. Anyway. It just seems that everything McCain tries to use to booster his campaign, blows up in his face. McCain's probably making that weird face, sticking his tongue out and scrunching his fingers. Ha ha!

Speaking of domestic terrorist...William Ayers. Why hasn't anybody found this guy to see if he is really unrepentant domestic terrorist? McCain has even gotten his own domestic terrorist baggage. G Gordon Liddy. That's the guy that masterminded the watergate break ins. John McCain has encountered homeboy on countless occassions. I guess that makes him a terrorist.

Okay, there are some simple things that fashionistas everywhere know but how is it that Sarah Palin cut and highlighted her hair exactly as I said she should. Wow. I must be a powerful person. Either that or someone's coaching her. It's probably me. ANYWAY! She still doesn't know what magazines she reads so it really doesn't matter.

NOW. Madonna. Please stop cursing out Sarah Palin. You're hurting more than you're helping. You're giving those right wing cons-who-serva-themselves-to-live ammo. You know they'll say, "See, Obama has the material girl bashing us. I told you he was a terriorist." Please just sing and dance.

Now, on to the Palin/McCain, I mean, McCain/Palin supporters. STOP chanting hate words from the crowds. We know you have a problem with the man because he's black, but those words are making yourselves look more buffoonish than you already do. You're hurting your party by proving that most of you are probably former (or current) KKK members. This will only push more independents our way because they don't want to be associated with racist. You know what? Nevermind...KEEP doing it! Help us get closer to a landslide victory.

McCain, you never let me down. I knew your innerself would emerge and you're disrespect for Obama would slip out at a debate. I just wish I had put some money on that. I could have filled my tank. For a moment, I actually started to feel sorry for Palin. Especially her kids b/c I'm sure they're gettin' it from other kids at school. Then, when I discovered she even lied about being able to see Russia from Alaska and keeping an eye on them...I've concluded that she deserves it for putting herself in a league she's not ready for yet. I mean...for goodness sakes. She hadn't even been to the Alaskan island where the mountains of Russia can be seen from classroom windows. The folks on that island even identify with Russia more than they do with the USA. Maybe because over 40% of them live in poverty and they've never meet their governor. Palin didn't try to make life better for them. How is she gonna make life better for us? What exactly is she going to "shake up" in Washington? This isn't "Shake-n-bake" Sarah. I'll be watching the debate tonight hoping that she doesn't make a fool of herself anymore than she already has. Even conservatives are calling for her to remove her name from the ticket. This is no good being that it's only one month until election. These people won't vote for Obama so they will just stay home. McCain has proven to be not a maverick but erratic. He should suspend his campaign, indefinitely. This will be interesting to see.....

You know, I really wanted to be a neutral blogger. This campaign has made my claws come out though. I can't stand people who can lie with a bold face. McCain flat out lied to David Letterman. If you saw Letterman last night, you know that John McCain, said he was going BACK to Washington DC to play political patty cake with the experts who drove our economy down the road it's on, in order to push through a deal that could bankrupt millions more Americans. Don't expect a bail out for common folks either. Does anyone remember a few months ago when McCain said he didn't know much about the economy? So, what exactly can he bring to the table? I mean, someone who said that the "fundamentals" of our economy is strong, has suspended his campaign so that he can "save" the country from a overly bloated proposal to bail out irresponsible CEOs and investment bankers. I mean...nevermind the fact that over 20 years ago, he was one of the HIGHLY controversial Keating 5. Proceed to read article below.

In my opinion, John Mccain cancelled his appearance, probably because he got a phone call from one of his lobbying buddies that went a little something like this:

Lobbyist Buddy: "Hey John...how's the campaign thing going?"

The Mac: "Going good man. I mean, I'm a little down in the polls but I'll think of something to make myself look more patriotic than Obama. What's going on?"

Lobbyist Buddy: "What in the world is George (the president) thinking? They're going to bail out Jim over there at Washington Mutual, but what about [insert name of irresponsible multi-million dollar corporation]? Go make sure they put us in the plan too, John. I mean, me and Sandra want to get in on this action. You know Tom is going to Harvard next year and we just bought our 7th house. I'd hate for us to have to postpone our $2.7 million dollar house warming party John. You know, we go way back, John. I got all our boys lined up behind ya. You're going to be president John. I mean, we are all banking on it, literally. Go add us to that plan".

The Mac: " Jim, you know I got your back my friend. Tell Sandra and Tom, Cindy and I said hi. We wouldn't miss that housewarming party for the world. That's why I'm trying to cancel this debate. I'll have to cancel my appearance with that looney Letterman guy. I'm going to get up to DC now and make sure you all are taken care of my friends."

Lobbyist Buddy: " You're the MAC daddy John. Later buddy. Bye"

[Hangs up phone]

[then John's phone rings again]

"Hi, Senator this is Katie Couric.

The Mac: " Hi Katie, I really got to hurry to help my fr...I mean, negotiate this bailout plan. How can I help you?"

Katie: "Can you stop by real quick for an interview? I promise I'll be nice!" [Katie smiles real big while holding her fingers crossed]

The Mac: "Sure Katie. No Problem"

[they both hang up phones]

[John picks up phone to call David Letterman]

The Mac: "Hey Dave, this is John Mccain"

David Letterman: " Wow, this is such an honor! How can I help you Mr. Senator?"

The Mac: "I'm sorry Dave, but I have to cancel my appearance on your show today, Katie Cou...I mean, the country needs me to help us out of this mess."

[David Letterman thinking, "Did he just say Katie Couric? Naaahhh."

David Letterman: "Alright, Mr Senator. I can undertstand that. You've always been a man willing to put others before yourself so I applaud your actions".

Well, you know what happened after that.

Anyway, John McCain wants to cancel a debate that's been in the making for over a year, millions of dollars have been spent on it already and local business owners who are struggling during this economy was hoping this debate could bring more business to them and possible save their businesses. John McCain is once again, playing politics at the expense of millions.

McCain says he's a maverick but he's really just erratic.

Though it's highly unlikely that Sarah Palin has actually viewed my blog, she has taken heed to the advice of someone. She had a dark brown chanel inspired suit the other day and a navy suit this week. Her hair looks very well conditioned and well kept. She doesn't have that, "I just got a call from John McCain to be his VP so I rushed out of bed look".

Now on to a more pressing matter. Has anybody ever stopped to wonder why social conservatives would rally behind a man that has been made rich off of his wife's multi-million dollar inheritance from the world's largest producer of beer? Well, it just occured to me yesterday how much of a contradiction it is being that thousands of people, especially teens and young adults, are killed in car crashes related to binge drinking. Beer is a HUGE component in binge drinking. Just in case it didn't occur to anyone else, I just thought I would point that out.

Go ahead, carry along. Don't have nothing else to say about the beer subject.

Now, on to Bristol.
I won't talk about Sarah Palin's daughter being pregnant out of wedlock except for the fact that she is very lucky to be born in this era. Back in the day, teenage mothers would get kicked out of their families. Boy have we changed. On that note though, it doesn't make a compelling case for abstinence education. I support abstinence but I also think teens need to know the full extent of how their choices could change their lives. We all know they will still have sex, that's where protection comes in. Maybe we should blame movies like "Juno". Maybe we should blame MTV. Or, maybe we should blame the parents for being too uninvolved or overlyprotective of their children. In Bristol's case, she probably thought (like most kids do) that it could never happen to her and she's invincible. I know I did. But, thank GOD I was spared from teen pregnancy and STDs. At the same time though, I wasn't raised in a conservative home that valued virginity. My mom never talked to me about sex or what could happen if I engage in it. If she would have, I may have waited a little longer and said "no" to those who took advantage of me. I was just a lucky one that made it out alive.

Sarah Palin's Hair and Attire

OMG! Can someone PLEASE tell Sarah Palin to get that God-awful poof off of her head! And those glasses and beige suit or just dreadful. Doesn't look like a VP or even a governor for that matter...more like the librarian. ANYWAY. Please for goodness sake, someone tell her to highlight her hair, cut it into a long bob, get some sleeker glasses, AND WEAR A DARKER SUIT FOR GOODNESS SAKES! Executive colors only...beige says "I'm a wuss".

I can say this because I've studied fashion since I was 12 years old, got a 4 year degree in it, etc etc etc. I am a self proclaimed fashion expert and the fashion consultant and "go-to-girl" for all my former customers, friends and associates, even a few strangers I met while shopping. It just frustrates me to see Governor Palin look like she's going to a Sears interview.

A VP needs to look powerful, commanding, strong. What she is wearing doesn't project this at all. In hopes that someone in the Mccain camp would read this , sorry for the negative tone...it just bothers me to think Mccain could lose votes because of the personal appearance of Sarah Palin and the underlying message it sends. I mean, shallow people like myself can't vote for someone to be 2nd in command when they have a poof on their head.

So, Govenor Palin, if you are reading this blog, please do these things to insure that you're sending the right message.

1. Highlight your hair with a golden brown color near the front of your hair. If you lighten your hair it will make your brown eyes pop.

2. CUT YOUR HAIR! (unless you want people to treat you like a cheerleader). Cut it into a long bob or layer it and curl it under via like..umm... Michelle Obama's hair.If you don't want to cut it...fine...just follow Cindy Mccain's example and pin it up WELL! Not with a banana-clip looking thing that gives you a third hand on top of your head.

3. Lose the glasses (or at least get slimmer, sleeker ones).

4. Burn the beige suit! Wear navy suits, with a off-white camisole and with gold accessories. You can add color by wearing a red or pink scarf around your neck like Hillary OR wear anything Coco Chanel, (or Ralph Lauren but only the executive line please).

5. Last but not least, wear a flag Lapel pin!!

We wouldn't want anyone thinking you're unpatriotic, especially with the former membership in the AIP.

You seem like a nice person and I don't want you to enter the history books with that hairdo and beige suit.
